That’s it ! The reception of the printer is finished. The ABSolutexT machine is being test at the R&D department of Maped in Haute-Savoie…
The first pieces are printing and the fiability tests had started.
Following the trials from January to March, there have been a lot of changes, the print head has undergone a complete redesign.
We added : 3 ventilators which blow hot air on the piece, one isolation of the hot area, thanks to a special silicon which can endure 500°C, an exterior skirt made of silicon gathers the hot air on the piece, a new system of lock in position, news ball joints, a new system of quick deconnection, a new cooler turbine… Almost everything has been modified, in order to improve the quality of prints and the fiability !
The whole line of extrusion (Extrudeurs, cooling tubes and print head) can be disconnected and extracted of the machine in some minuts, thanks to 4 knurled buttons, which facilitate greatly the maintenance.
This new print head will be the one delivered on series production machines.
