Ludeek and the ABSolute2, the beginning of a beautiful story!
Our distributor Ludeek evening presentation. The most emblematic industrialists of the Annecy region (France) were invited.
Qualup went even further with an open-source machine capable of extruding materials up to 500°C. It is also equipped with a chamber heated to 90°C.
It is thus able to print technical subjects such as PEEK or ULTEM. Not to mention more conventional consumables like ABS, PET, PLA, TPU …
More than 25 companies were invited to discover the exceptional performance of the 3D printer: ABSolute 2.
We have had the pleasure of receiving representatives from companies like Staubli, Fournier SA, Rossignol, NTN SNR, Galderma, Polytech Annecy…
We started the evening with the presentation of our company with the speech of Ludeek founder, Mickael Bovagnet. Then it was the turn of me to explain why we decided to design this new machine, and what it brings more compared to competing products.
Then Mr Aznar, Maped R&D explain :
« We are equipped with proprietary 3D printers that we have been using for many years, but their use was expensive in the long run. By seeing the open source 3D printer market grow, we discovered a possible solution. Not having all the knowledge internally, we relied on the experience of a French manufacturer Qualup.
So ABSolute was born and we have, after a lot of work, got a 3D printer allowing the printing of ABS with an excellent structural hold, and a reasonable cost of use. Today we therefore have proprietary systems that cohabit with the ABSolute 2, each with its well-defined uses.«
