The last thing to do is to check again the Z position of the center of the Bed

 

1.     Click on Home button then when the head is at top position Enter :

G1 Z20 F2000

then click on Send button or hit Enter Key

The printer move the down to Z20.00 position

 

2.     Click on -Z button with steps of 1mm until the head is at approx 2mm of the bed

 

 3.     Click on -Z button with steps of 0.1mm until the head touch the paper (bended 3 times ). Move the paper to check when the head touch.

 

4.     If the head touch the paper before Z =0.00 decrease the value you entered in the EEPROM (to see Chapter 23 Point #3 above)

 

5.     Enter :

G28

then click on Send button or hit Enter Key

The printer move the head up

 

Important note :

At the beginning it is better the head stay 0.30mm above the paper, this will avoid to damage the Film on the Bed in case of mishandling.

eg, if the head touch the paper with an EEPROM Z max length [mm] value of 248.80mm, enter 248.60mm into the EEPROM.

When you will be familiar with the printer you can increase a bit and enter the right value
